The two airlines that serve North Cyprus

| Cyprus Turkish Airlines (CTA) operate
direct* flights to Ercan, the airport in North Cyprus, from the
UK but flights stop at Turkey for an hour en-route. The price of
a return flight from UK to North Cyprus is

actually stop in Turkey en-route but passengers stay on the same
aircraft through to Cyprus.

Turkish Airlines operate a good
service to North Cyprus. During the summer they operate
through aircraft from Stansted to Ercan but Heathrow and
Manchester passengers will need to change aircraft in
Istanbul. Flights operate daily from from Heathrow/
Stansted and Manchester to Istanbul where you have to change
aircraft. Prices start from £222.70 inc tax, fuel surcharge
and airport fees.
The Turkish Airlines service offers the
cheapest, and best service from Stansted to North Cyprus.

Pegasus
Airlines. This airline has operated a service
to North Cyprus, since March 2007. Flights operate from
Stansted on Wed, Thur, and Sun at the following times:

An alternative to flying to North
Cyprus is to fly to Larnaca in South Cyprus and ask a
friend or take a taxi to North Cyprus. The extra journey
time on the ground (45 mins) is saved by using a non-stop flight.

CTA have changed their fares policy and since October 2006 charge a range of fares depending on
availability and these fares carry quite a high cancellation penalty. Most availability is sold at £262 in winter including taxes and
fuel surcharge. Airport service fees additional (about £10 depending on UK
airport)
